WITH the preseason now done, it’s fair to say the Brisbane Bullets are back.
The crowds for our games at the Australian Basketball Challenge were great considering the Riverfire weekend and one being on a Monday night.
It feels like the community will be right there with us, joining our Bullets family for the season.
Three games in New Zealand and three at the ABC have really helped prepare us, test us and show us what we’re good at and what we need to work on as a team.
There’s already a good vibe around the team despite being together for such a short time. We have some real characters in this group, which will be shown in a variety of videos and footage throughout the year on the Bullets social media pages
The front office has done a great job to bring the club back. They have come a long way in such a short time. We know there is a long way to go but we as a club appreciate your patience and support knowing the aim is to be the most respected and professional sporting club in Queensland.
Our first game is going to be a huge occasion at the Entertainment Centre against the defending champion Perth Wildcats on Thursday and, hopefully, all of Brisbane can get behind us and see us in action for the first time in eight years, and hopefully start our season with a win.
