LA Mocha is the place to go for the best brew in Greater Springfield according to Springfield News readers.
It was the second time the Springfield Lakes cafe has come out on top after receiving the majority of the nearly 300 online votes.
Merlo at Orion and Lotus Cafe were also strongly backed.
La Mocha owner Erkan Senyucel said he had worked hard since opening in 2015 to perfect the “art” of coffee making.
“There are several factors that all have to work together to make the perfect cup of coffee,” he said.
“We tested and tried hundreds of coffee beans until we were satisfied with our own blend.
“We feel privileged to have had our customers and community support us once again.”
But Mr Senyucel’s care does not end with his customers.
La Mocha has also poured thousands of dollars into the Springfield community through its partnership with the local Bendigo Bank.
The two stores share a premises and the bank uses the proceeds of La Mocha’s rent to support community causes.
The partnership was the first of its kind in Queensland.
La Mocha also donates its tips and has a designated “Charity Day”.
It used the funds to prepares 50 back-to-school packs for local disadvantaged youth and build a well in Bangladesh.
“Life is too short to make money your priority,” Mr Senyucel said.
“Coffee is a drink that unites people from all around the world, and is a common language.”
