Two people have been injured by forklifts at separate workplace incidents across Brisbane today.

About 12.44pm at Taringa a man in his 30s suffered serious head and neck injuries after a forklift incident.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said the man was knocked by a forklift on a construction site on Equinox Street.

He was taken in a stable condition to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

The second forklift incident occurred in Lytton at an industrial workplace along Freight Street.

A male worker in his 20s suffered upper body and lower leg injuries after reportedly being run over by a forklift at a cargo container company.

Three ambulance crews were on scene, including one critical care paramedic.

The young man was transported in a serious but stable condition to the Princess Alexandra Hospital at 1.08pm.

A Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ) spokesperson said WHSQ was investigating both forklift incidents in Lytton and Taringa.
