Six Logan and Gold Coast men charged with 201 charges in luxury car and property investigation

Six men, including five teenagers, have been charged with hundreds of offences following an alleged four-month property crime spree across Brisbane and the Gold Coast. WATCH THE VIDEO.

Police have charged six men with a staggering 201 offences after a four-month investigation into a series of alleged property crimes across southeast Queensland.

The men, including five teenagers, have been charged with targeting luxury vehicles and high-end properties throughout Brisbane and the Gold Coast after allegedly conspiring together during the past four months.

A Police spokesman said detectives from the Centenary Crime Team, Bayside Property Team, and Gold Coast Criminal Investigation Branch executed search warrants at addresses in Logan Central, Slacks Creek, and Woodridge.

“A significant quantity of stolen property and vehicles were located and have since been returned to victims,” a police spokesman said.

An 18-year-old man arrested at Woodridge has been charged with 30 property offences.

He will appear before the Richlands Magistrates Court on July 24.

A 17-year-old male was at Slacks Creek and is charged with 36 offences. He will appear before Beenleigh Childrens Court on June 17.

A 16-year-old male was arrested at Logan Central and is charged with 45 offences. He will appear before Brisbane Childrens Court on June 24.

A 21-year-old man was arrested at Woodridge and is charged with 16 offences. He will appear before Richlands Magistrates Court on July 1.

A 19-year-old Woodridge man has been charged with 26 offences, including seven counts each of unlawful use of motor vehicle, eight counts each of enter dwelling and commit, two counts each of serious assault of person over 60, one count each of obstruct a police officer, possession of a knife in public place, and dangerous operation of vehicle.

He will appear before the Southport Magistrates court on July 2.

A 19-year-old Woodridge man has been charged with two counts each of serious assault of person over 60, two counts each of enter dwelling and commit, one count each of assault police officer, obstruct a police officer, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, and possession of a knife in a public place.

He will appear before the Southport Magistrates court on June 26.

All men have been remanded in custody.
