The team behind Brisbane’s Lina Rooftop and Eterna are opening up a new waterfront Italian restaurant in Bulimba.
Stefano De Blasi and Edoardo Perlo have once again joined forces with hospitality gurus Ross Ledingham and Mario Castro to open Mina Restaurant & Bar at 37 Oxford St.
Mr De Blasi and Mr Perlo co-own several Italian restaurants in Brisbane, including Salt Meats Cheese, Bar Ombre’, Eterna Dining, La Costa, Cielo Rooftop, Catalina Rooftop and Evita Dining.
The restaurant and bar will be just off the Bulimba jetty, next to Darvella Patisserie and Melrose.
There is no official opening date yet, but it is expected to be later this month.
Mina’s head chef Joel Walker, who was behind the successful opening of The Calile Hotel in James Street, will be serving up Italian favourites such as Venetian cicchetti snacks, risottos, handmade pizzas and pastas and cocktails.
The menu is inspired by Rome, Milan and Florence and their world renowned dining culture.
It will be open 5-9pm Monday to Friday and 12-9pm on weekends.
