Multi-vehicle crash on Pacific Motorway: 12 assessed by paramedics

Ambulance crews have assessed a dozen patients after a crash involving several vehicles lefty peak hour traffic backed up for kilometres in Brisbane’s south.

Delays hit one of Brisbane’s major highways during peak traffic this morning after a crash involving up to a dozen people.

Multiple Queensland Ambulance Service crews attended the scene on the Pacific Motorway northbound at Eight Mile Plains around 8.41am following the multi-vehicle crash.

A QAS spokesman said the crash involved 12 people with several assessed for injuries, none of which were serioius.

One patient was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.

Motorists on the Pacific Motorway experienced delays as far south as Daisy Hill but the incident has since been cleared.
