Police are looking for a driver allegedly involved in a hit and run crash in Brisbane earlier this year where a motorcyclist was run off the road and seriously injured.
Police allege the hit and run happened in Greenslopes in January and are now seeking information that could help identify the car or driver involved.
Initial investigations indicated that around 11pm on January 19 a white hatchback was driving dangerously westbound along Cornwall St, before a collision occurred with a 30-year-old Greenslopes man pushing a blue Honda motorcycle on the edge of the road.
According to police the force of the collision threw the motorcyclist down the road, causing a significant injury to his leg.
The driver of the white hatchback stopped approximately 30 metres from the collision near a unit complex, before fleeing the scene at speed and turning left onto Logan Rd and travelling further south.
Investigators believe the vehicle would have sustained significant front end damage and appeal to the driver, or anyone with further information to come forward.
Anonymous reports can be made.
Police also appeal to witnesses, especially those with relevant dashcam or CCTV to contact Policelink.
