Pellicano finishes $37 million townhouse community, Arbor Park, in Wynnum West

It’s the development which sparked a new era for a suburb on Brisbane’s bayside after decades of little to no progress. See inside a high profile developer’s new 67-townhouse community.

A previously rundown suburb connecting Brisbane’s eastern suburbs to the city’s bayside has been transformed after the completion of a $37 million townhouse community development from one of the state’s high profile property groups.

Brisbane development company Pellicano have recently finished works on Arbor Park, a 67-townhouse project on Wynnum Rd at Wynnum West, after two years of construction.

Arbor Park is the suburb’s biggest residential development yet – although it will soon be overtaken by the massive revamp of the Wynnum Plaza, which sits right next to the townhouse community.

Both projects have transformed Wynnum West, a suburb previously known for its lack of progress over the past few decades.

Michael Kent from Pellicano said the development was huge for the suburb and the bayside in general as it provided a point of difference after the influx of apartment complexes in the area in recent times.

“In concert with the Wynnum Plaza upgrade, Arbor Park has lead the rejuvenation of the area into a sought after pocket of Brisbane,” he said.

“The site’s connectivity gives residents the opportunity to experience bayside living with high level of day-to-day amenity close by, including cafes, bars and parklands.”

Mr Kent said the townhouses, which were sold out, catered to many different demographics.

“The townhomes have a point of difference in their varied and pleasing designs offering seamless integration between indoor and outdoor living,” he said.

“Catering to first home buyers through to families the development has been thoughtfully executed with care and attention to detail,” he said.

“It also includes lifestyle features not always seen, such as dedicated outdoor dining spaces, barbecue areas, fire pits and a woodfire pizza oven.”

It is unknown when construction on the Wynnum Plaza upgrade will start.
