AFL Round 8 has delivered another rollercoaster shakeup of the AFL SuperCoach Local "Battle of the Postcodes" standings.

Just 59 local leaders held onto the top spot after the dust settled, while more than 8 were bundled out of their local Top 10 altogether.

Crowmagnon was one of those holding strong in the Wynnum Herald campaign

Supercoach player Dave of Crowmagnon sits at 17,643 points and is ranked 1189th nationally, 644 points behind the Supercoach leader Ryder2Gray from Queensland.

The fastest-rising local team this week was Deano's Bombers which scored 2318 and jumped 19,739 spots nationally and is now ranked 29,591st.

There are 220 AFL SuperCoach teams in the Wynnum Herald’s competition.

A total of 336 SuperCoach points separate first position and tenth position.

The median score for all teams nationally is 13,952.
