AFL Round 8 has delivered another rollercoaster shakeup of the AFL SuperCoach Local "Battle of the Postcodes" standings.

Just 59 local leaders held onto the top spot after the dust settled, while more than 8 were bundled out of their local Top 10 altogether.

In the Southern Star campaign, Dat **** Macrae ran over the top of last week’s top team Griffinshaw.

Supercoach player Wayde of Dat **** Macrae sits at 17,777 points and is ranked 336th nationally, 510 points behind the Supercoach leader Ryder2Gray from Queensland.

The fastest-rising local team this week was NABS POWER which scored 2226 and jumped 13,703 spots nationally and is now ranked 51,530th.

There are 300 AFL SuperCoach teams in the Southern Star’s competition.

A total of 389 SuperCoach points separate first position and tenth position.

The median score for all teams nationally is 13,952.
