The wild ride continued in AFL SuperCoach Local in Round 5 with many new faces battling their way into the Top 10 as past leaders fell around them.

Just 40 players out of 82 SuperCoach Local competitions kept their heads and held on to their lead while 19 others were bundled out of their local Top 10 all together.

In the Southern Star campaign, Dat **** Macrae ran over the top of last week’s top team Dat **** Macrae.

Supercoach player Wayde of Dat **** Macrae sits at 11,282 points and is ranked 442nd nationally, 333 points behind the Supercoach leader Ryder2Gray from Brisbane.

The fastest-rising local team this week was EJAS which scored 2272 and jumped 20,419 spots nationally and is now ranked 53,287th.

There are 290 AFL SuperCoach teams in the Southern Star’s competition.

A total of 271 SuperCoach points separate first position and tenth position.

The median score for all teams nationally is 8056.
