AFL SuperCoach: Battle of the Postcodes

The wild ride continued in AFL SuperCoach Local in Round 5 with many new faces battling their way into the Top 10 as past leaders fell around them.

Just 40 players out of 82 SuperCoach Local competitions kept their heads and held on to their lead while 19 others were bundled out of their local Top 10 all together.

In the City South News campaign, ThunderTurkeys ran over the top of last week’s top team Pigs in Mud.

Supercoach player Mick of ThunderTurkeys sits at 11,219 points and is ranked 1061st nationally, 396 points behind the Supercoach leader Ryder2Gray from Brisbane.

The fastest-rising local team this week was Hammers which scored 2290 and jumped 20,710 spots nationally and is now ranked 76,159th.

There are 230 AFL SuperCoach teams in the City South News’s competition.

A total of 163 SuperCoach points separate first position and tenth position.

The median score for all teams nationally is 8056.
