AFL SuperCoach: Battle of the Postcodes

AFL Round 3 has delivered another wild shakeup of the SuperCoach Local standings.

Just 15 local leaders held onto the top spot after the dust settled, while more than 30 were bundled out of their local Top 10 all together.

Lighting ran over the top of Heroes and Champs in the local campaign, capitalising on an unpredictable third AFL round which saw Geelong, Essendon, Sydney, GWS, West Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Hawthorn and Freemantle all bag a win.

Supercoach player Kieran of Lighting sits at 6780 points and is ranked 1477th nationally, 277 behind the Supercoach leader Goat eater from Pakenham in Victoria.

The fastest-rising local team this week was Dragons which scored 2403 and jumped 41,591 spots nationally and is now ranked 18,405th.

There are 230 AFL SuperCoach teams in the City South News’s competition.

A total of 81 SuperCoach points separate first position and tenth position.

The median score for all teams nationally is 6075.
