Police are searching for a man who may be able to assist with investigations into a burglary at Morningside which police say could be linked to another.
Police released vision of the man who they say may be able to assist with investigations following the burglary in Morningside on Wednesday, March 20.
Video supplied shows a person aggressively breaking open the door of a home and searching through the property, taking items, before leaving the scene.
Investigations indicate the person broke into a Wynnum Road property and stole a quantity of jewellery and antique items at approximately 12.10pm.
The person appears to then leave the scene on foot towards Moore Street and Redfern Street.
No one was physically injured.
Police are investigating whether the Morningside incident could be related to a similar burglary that occurred nearby at Seven Hills in July, 2023.
On the afternoon of July 28, 2023 a person broke in to a Clearview Terrace property and stole a quantity of jewellery, including antique items.
A resident, who was home at the time, disturbed the intruder who then left the scene on foot with the stolen items.
No one was physically injured.
Police are appealing to the man, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward and investigations are continuing.
