I don’t know what anyone else thinks but for me it has become a time of indecision – do I go fishing or don’t I?
Do I support the local businesses and my bait shop and go out in the middle of the Bay and not bother anyone or be close to anyone and bring home a fish for dinner?

I don’t know the correct answer but my thoughts are be careful.
Remember all the government recommendations on space and hygiene when dealing with others and if you can escape for a few days in the middle of the Bay without hurting anyone then that’s what you should do.

So I decided to first clean and organise all the essentials for the species that are available in good numbers in the Bay this time of year, which are whiting, squid, school mackerel, snapper, squire and sweet lip bream.
Looking at the amount of tackle I found I am pretty sure I don’t need to stock up on any more (like toilet paper!) but like most fisherman you can never have enough.
So get your gear ready and be considerate of others.
I hope we get back to some normality sooner then late.
