A LOGANHOLME butcher in his late-20s who still lives with his mum has fronted court today after police executing a search warrant on the property they shared together revealed a stash of drugs which included liquid testosterone and steroids.

The court heard police executed a search warrant on his mother’s Shailer Park property on April 3 this year. Briscoe wasn’t home but his mother let the officers in.
Inside, they discovered five vials of liquid testosterone and 11 vials of steroids. They also discovered unprescribed antidepressants, a bong, and digital scales.
He was arrested and charged on April 22 at the Loganholme property he had since moved to.
Briscoe was discovered in possession of a dangerous drug again on May 31 when a car he was a back seat passenger in was stopped for a licence check.
Police asked the driver if he had anything to declare, to which he replied no, but in the back they could see Briscoe shifting and fidgeting uncomfortably.
A search of his person revealed a small amount of marijuana.
The court heard Briscoe was a butcher at Coles and this was his fifth time before the court, although the first for drug offences.
