“It’s been in use for the past year and we’ve had great feedback from everyone,” she said.

“The building has also won other educational and architectural awards and it’s the first of our design and construct to win this award.

“It has a lot of bespoke features which the students love.

“It is located in the heart of the school so we had to work closely with the school regarding construction during school time.

“We work with a lot of private schools in the Brisbane region, we’re currently working on buildings for Redlands College, Hillbrook and Canon Hill Anglican College to name a few.”

Miss Cronin said the award was a great achievement for Rohrig.

“We’re very excited,” she said.

“We won in the same category last year but at the regional level so to win at state level is so exciting.

“We weren’t actually there (at the awards), so it was a great surprise, and a tremendous achievement for us.

“We’re really grateful for the relationship we had with the school which made the whole process run so smoothly.”
