Proprietor Dan Field was overwhelmed by the groundswell support.
In contrast to many coronavirus-affected businesses Mr Field will soon take on an extra staff member and increase hours for others at the business.
“The support has been truly overwhelming,” he said.
“Even when it was really scary (during COVID-19) customers came in and checked on us and in turn we let people come in and have a bit of banter, have a bit of an escape and just always remained positive.
“It is amazing to have such a supportive community after the short amount of time we have traded.”
Mr Field, who previously ran a craft beer bar in Cleveland, said the business has benefited from low overheads and a delicious point of difference.
“We like to do things a bit different here,” he said.
“We never want to have the same food as down the street.
“We have croissants and cookies but stuffed with some kind of concoction and that pared with quality coffee just walks out the door.”
Park Social’s Reuben sandwich brims with house made everything: Sauerkraut, silverside, pickle, mustard and American cheese all toasted on a golden crunchy, buttery sourdough.
Or how about a culinary twist on a Louisiana specialty?
The cafe serves a Po’Boy sandwich with their famous southern fried chicken, slaw, tomato, aioli, and pickle which all comes together with a crispy toasted bun.
And for the sweet of tooth there are stuffed croissants that will break your heart.
The business was given a help along by its partnership with DHC Coffee Co, a roastery also owned by Mr Field and located within the same premises.
Park Social is also setting up its own food delivery service after the pandemic-driven adjustment became a necessity.
