Paula Thompson, also known as Paulie, has grown her business, Cakes by Paulie, at Capella Dr, Redland Bay. She crafted this amazing cake called “Chester”. It was her first ever attempt at a carved dog. He was all chocolate mud cake except for the front legs, which were fondant. He was carved completely by hand, using only a Dresden tool to indent markings. Paula was given several photos of him, as inspiration.
