Mt Cotton Rd at Carbrook is being hailed as a motorcycle death trap after its second major incident in two days involving riders.
A man, believed to be in his thirties, was treated for minor injuries on the road just after 3.40pm when his motorcycle and a car collided.
Ambulance officers said the man was treated at the scene and was in a stable condition.
The incident is less than 24 hours after a Cedar Vale man riding a motorcycle died on the stretch of road also at Cornubia.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
The latest incident prompted outrage on social media sites with people blaming the state government for shoddy road works along the road, which passes a crematorium, a driving school and a vineyard.
In March, a 55-year-old Redlands man died when a car allegedly collided with his motorcycle on the road.
Police allege the vehicle, driven by a 20-year-old Mount Cotton man, was travelling southbound along Mount Cotton Rd about 1.20am on March 6 when he collided with father of two John McKillop on a motorcycle.
