Latest housing release caters for families who need to park a boat

A new house with room to park your boat? This developer is reaching out to bayside boaties, creating new designs that buck the small-block trend.

Buyers have shown overwhelming demand for the latest land release at a new Redlands Coast project which offers limited blocks designed for parking a boat.

Ausbuild’s latest 62-lot release in stage two at Kinross – The Habitat – was met by buyers putting their names down against 34 of the blocks.

The developer has released 10 blocks of 800+sq m, with the marketing campaign targeting boat owners.

Ausbuild managing director Matthew Bell said his sales team had been “working around the clock” with the 34 buyers to ensure their preferred block matched their family’s needs.

“One of the exciting elements is the release of the 800sq m lots which are suitable to the Redlanders’ lifestyle – with room for boats or caravans,” he said.

“It’s well known that Redlands Coast buyers love their boats, so now they’ll be able to park them at home.

The Habitat, at Kinross Rd, Thornlands, also includes 2.2ha of park, with a dedicated children’s playground, walking tracks and bush reserves.

Construction is also set to start on a new childcare centre later this year.

Local families will benefit when a new childcare centre is built at Kinross.

Blocks in the new release range from 325sq m to 897sq m and are priced from $275,000.
