KFC construction gets underway at Redlands shopping centre

Construction is underway for the new KFC at Birkdale Green and the fast food giant has put the call out for staff members.

CONSTRUCTION is underway for the new KFC at Birkdale Green and the fast food giant has put the call out for staff members.

The KFC will be complete with a drive-through, restaurant and 14-bay car park and will be located at the front of the Birkdale Green premises along Birkdale Rd.

$1 A WEEK FOR THE FIRST 8 WEEKS. Min. cost $4

Presently, the closest KFC to Birkdale residents is at Capalaba.

It is part of a three-state improvement to the site, with an additional commercial space to be created next door to the fast food restaurant at a later date.

Meanwhile, KFC has begun the hiring process, having launched advertising for new team members last month.

No experience is necessary for the customer service roles, with successful applicants provided full KFC training.

Redlands Community News is yet to be able to confirm an open date for the restaurant.
