Today's forecast is mostly cloudy; showers, heavy at times; s/e'ly winds.
Moist air with a dew point of 19.7 at 8am today means the temperature will feel like 24.1 degrees making the day slightly humid. The relative humidity is 93 per cent.
The highest expected temperature today is 28, the same as yesterday's max.
Warmer conditions are expected on five of the next six days, with the mercury climbing above today's maximum on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
The chance of rain today is 90 per cent.
Showers are less likely tomorrow with the Bureau of Meteorology forecasting a medium (60 per cent) chance of rain.
The UV index is predicted to be 10. There is a very high risk of harm from sun exposure. Skin can be damaged and burn quickly in today’s conditions. Experts suggest avoiding sun exposure around noon and keeping to the shade. General advice is to use eye protection, sunscreen and cover up.
Winds will be southeast around 16 km/h in the morning shifting to east around 15 km/h in the afternoon.
