Police are hunting for three men after an early-morning raid at a Logan service station in which they made off with the entire tobacco cabinet and a wad of cash.
Police said the masked men, one carrying a knife and another a pole, entered the Chambers Flat Rd service station about 4.30am on Friday, May 3.
They demanded the attendant open the registers and place the day’s takings in a bag before removing all the tobacco drawers.
The employee complied. They were not injured.
Police said the men escaped in a dark grey Hyundai car and were last seen driving towards School Rd.
It was believed all offenders were caucasian.
Video footage of the raid showed one of the men standing guard at the front doors, armed with a pole which was waved in the air to keep motorists from entering the service station.
The footage also showed a masked man carrying the entire tobacco cabinet and loading it into a vehicle at the front door.
Police appealed to anyone who witnessed the incident, or who might have dashcam vision in or around Chambers Flat Rd and School Rd at the time of the robbery, to contact them.
