A bayside woman says she is ready to turn her life around after attending court on drug and utensil charges.
Capalaba resident, Bianca Simpson, pleaded guilty in Cleveland Court on Thursday (August 5) to one count of possessing dangerous drugs and one count of possessing drug utensils.
The court heard the 32-year-old’s property was searched by police on March 1 this year where police discovered a water pipe and 3g of cannabis.
“The defendant was quite hostile,” police prosecutor Sergeant Duncan Blackburn said.
“She yelled at police that they were not allowed to seize her weed and bong.”
Simpson’s lawyer, Kurt McDonald, said his client had changed her life.
“She has been starting to turn things around,” Mr McDonald said.
“She’s also stopped drinking.”
Simpson apologised.
“I’m intensely sorry for how I’ve treated people,” she said.
Simpson was convicted and received 12 months’ probation.
