Queensland Covid vaccination rates, where to get vaccinated and case numbers for every region

More than 296,000 people have been vaccinated across the state in the last week, as new data reveals how many people are vaccinated and where you can get vaccinated in your suburb.

Queensland records six new local COVID-19 cases

Almost 300,000 doses of Covid vaccines were injected into the arms of people across Queensland in the last week, as new data shows how many people have been vaccinated for Covid-19 across every region in the state.

Operation Covid Shield data, released by Federal Health, has revealed the growing number of people protected by at least one jab of available vaccines in your community.

The latest information on the Federal Government vaccine rollout the Operation Covid Shield comes as Quest can reveal the rates of Covid-19 vaccination in every local area across Queensland— as well as all the places you can get vaccinated in your suburb.

The Federal Government’s newly-released vaccination data, in comparison to Australian Bureau of Statistics’ regional statistical area information, updated in 2019, has been used to determine the percentage of residents in your area vaccinated for Covid-19.

The Ministry of Health has also updated the number of Covid-19 vaccine clinics available to the public across the state, with a total of 2181 jab hubs in Queensland to date, as

26 active cases of Covid-19 are recorded across the state.

Meanwhile, Toowoomba has been revealed as the community with the highest number of vaccine clinics across the state, with 23 hubs open to the public, while Brisbane city comes in second with 22 hubs. In Gympie and Mackay there are 20 clinics open to the public, followed by Maryborough, Maroochydore and Capalba with 17 clinics each.

Robina has 16 clinics, while Ipswich and Southport both have 13 clinics.

GREATER BRISBANE

The Inner City suburbs of Brisbane have seen a total of 188,547 people administered their first dose of the Covid vaccine, an increase of 8,823 in the last week alone.

While 144,939 people have received their second dose and are fully immunised — up by 9,831 in the last week.

Meanwhile in Brisbane’s East, 142,741 have been immunised with their first dose of the vaccine to date, with a weekly increase of 8,728.

When it comes to people administered their second dose, a total of 99,298 have been fully vaccinated — with an increase of 6,206 in the last seven days alone.

The city’s North has seen a 6,827 increase in doses to a total partially vaccinated population this week, with 140,593 receiving their first jab to date.

Meanwhile, 103,323 people are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 — a weekly increase of 7,934.

In the city’s South, 225,021 people have received their first jab with a weekly increase of 14,160 While 161,609 people are fully vaccinated in the community.

The fully vaccinated figure rose by 11,082 in the last seven days.

Meanwhile, in Brisbane’s West 125,261 people have received their first vaccination, with a 5,324 increase on last week’s figures.

The total population of fully vaccinated people increased by 6,107 this week to 97,078 across the region.

There are 19active cases of Covid reported in the Metro North Hospital and Health Service region.

THE REGIONS

In the last week, Cairns saw an extra 5,300 people receive their first jab of the vaccine, increasing the first-dose population to 137,189. While 103,758 people have had their second dose, up by 6,319 in the last week.

Darling Downs – Maranoa has 70,352 people partially vaccinated against Covid. This figure increased by 3,365 in the last week.

Meanwhile, 51,388 people are fully vaccinated across the region — a weekly increase of 3,467.

Meanwhile, Central Queensland has a total partially vaccinated population of 102,326 people who have already got their first jab. An increase of 5,321 in the last week.

Meanwhile 72,710 people have been fully vaccinated, with a weekly increase of 6,029.

A total of 342,427 on the Gold Coast are vaccinated with their first dose of the Covid jab after 19,776 people came forward in the past week. While an extra 19,776 people received their second dose this week, bringing the fully vaccinated population to 236,785.

There are six active cases of Covid reported in the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service region.

In Ipswich, 179,095 are now partially vaccinated with 11,211 extra people record to have their first dose this week.

A total of 122,760 people are fully vaccinated to date after a weekly increase of 11,491.

Meanwhile, in Logan – Beaudesert, 162,890 are partially vaccinated after a further 11,847 people were vaccinated with their first dose this week across the region.

Meanwhile 8,346 people came forward for their second dose, bringing the fully-vaccinated population across the region to 102,042.

Mackay – Isaac – Whitsunday saw 5,063 people come forward for their first dose, bringing the partially vaccinated population up to 78,536 across the region.

Meanwhile, the fully vaccinated population increased to 51,172 after a further 3,968 people got vaccinated with their second dose this week.

Meanwhile in Moreton Bay – North, 144,654 have been immunised with their first dose of the vaccine to date, with a weekly increase of 7,472.

When it comes to people administered their second dose, a total of 101,072 have been fully vaccinated — with an increase of 7,472 in the last seven days alone.

There are currently four active cases of Covid in the Metro North Hospital and Health Service region.

Moreton Bay – South has seen a 7,123 increase in doses to a total partially vaccinated population of 121,760 receiving the jab to date.

Meanwhile, 86,487 people are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 — a weekly increase of 6,953.

In the Queensland outback, 34,139 have received their first jab with a weekly increase of 1,444. While 26,169 people are fully vaccinated in the community.

The fully vaccinated figure rose by 1,192 in the last seven days.

Meanwhile, on the Sunshine Coast, 223,573 people have received their first vaccination, with a 9,790 increase on last week’s figures.

The total population of fully vaccinated people increased by 10,105 this week to 165,154 across the region.

In the last week, Toowoomba saw an extra 5,000 people receive their first jab of the vaccine, increasing the first-dose population to 88,232. While 62,245 people have had their second dose, up by 4,691 in the last week.

Townsville has 124,393 people partially vaccinated against Covid. This figure increased by 6,096 in the last week.

Meanwhile, 94,486 people are fully vaccinated across the region — a weekly increase of 6,477.

There is one case of Covid-19 in Townsville.

Meanwhile, Wide Bay has a total partially vaccinated population of 166,461 people who have already got their first jab. An increase of 7,657 in the last week.

Meanwhile 119,536 people have been fully vaccinated, with a weekly increase of 7,163.
