THIS modern home was designed for families and entertainers.
Italian owners Tony and Selena Danieli designed and built the residence two years ago to suit their family with three daughters.
“We have quite a big family being Italian so we designed it to cater for large gatherings and storage,” Mr Danieli said.
“There’s an al fresco area out the back that leads down to another entertaining area, which could also be used for a fourth vehicle or to store a trailer, caravan or boat.
“When building we wanted it to have a lot of street appeal too so we angled the roof, used different level roof lines and glass balustrades.”
Mr Danieli said that three garage spaces, five bedrooms and a study were all priorities in the design.
“Because it was an odd-size block we wanted to maximise the footprint and build a large house with additional car accommodation,” he said.
“It’s been a good family home with all the space and being walking distance to three parks.”
The study, laundry, formal living, open-plan kitchen, living and dining are all located on the lower level of the two storey house.
The galley-style kitchen features stone benchtops, breakfast bar with stone waterfalls, undermount sink and a butler’s pantry.
The five bedrooms are on the top level with a family bathroom, separate toilet and living area leading out to a balcony.
Four bedrooms include built-in wardrobes while the main has two walk-in wardrobes, an ensuite and private balcony.
“We loved to have drinks on the balcony upstairs and take in the sea views,” Mr Danieli said.
The property is located in a private laneway in Seven Hills which Mr Danieli described as quiet.
“It’s a one-way street so it was safe for the kids to ride their bikes up and down as we sat on our balcony and watched,” he said.
“It’s a great place for a family looking for space, additional storage, convenience and a low-maintenance house.”
