Mr Neil said his Earth exhibition “serves as a protest against the human destruction of our ecosystems and a warning to our community that nature is faced with enormous challenges from climate change”.

“The focus of the exhibition is on the natural emotive connections of joy, mystery and wonder between children and nature.

Mr Neil said the exhibition of photographs taken within the past year “makes a statement”.

“As a photographer I want these photographs of children playing in the beauty of nature to personalise climate change and spread it to a wider audience.

“We can’t take it for granted that nature will find its own way. We need to take action to protect and preserve the beauty of the natural world for our kids.
