AFL Round 8 has delivered another rollercoaster shakeup of the AFL SuperCoach Local "Battle of the Postcodes" standings.

Just 59 local leaders held onto the top spot after the dust settled, while more than 8 were bundled out of their local Top 10 altogether.

Libba's a lock was one of those holding strong in the Northside Chronicle campaign

Supercoach player Darcy of Libba's a lock sits at 17,789 points and is ranked 292nd nationally, 498 points behind the Supercoach leader Ryder2Gray from Queensland.

The fastest-rising local team this week was Boondall Bandits which scored 2211 and jumped 12,742 spots nationally and is now ranked 57,512nd.

There are 500 AFL SuperCoach teams in the Northside Chronicle’s competition.

A total of 385 SuperCoach points separate first position and tenth position.

The median score for all teams nationally is 13,952.
