The wild ride continued in AFL SuperCoach Local in Round 5 with many new faces battling their way into the Top 10 as past leaders fell around them.

Just 40 players out of 82 SuperCoach Local competitions kept their heads and held on to their lead while 19 others were bundled out of their local Top 10 all together.

Libba's a lock was one of those holding strong in the Northside Chronicle campaign

Supercoach player Darcy of Libba's a lock sits at 11,427 points and is ranked 32nd nationally, 188 points behind the Supercoach leader Ryder2Gray from Brisbane.

The fastest-rising local team this week was Dominators which scored 2265 and jumped 19,762 spots nationally and is now ranked 55,759th.

There are 500 AFL SuperCoach teams in the Northside Chronicle’s competition.

A total of 390 SuperCoach points separate first position and tenth position.

The median score for all teams nationally is 8056.
