JUST 84 local leaders held onto the top spot this week after the dust settled in AFL Supercoach Local "Battle of the Postcodes" for Round 9.

Another 9 were bundled out of their local Top 10 altogether.

Honeybeowas was one of those holding strong in the City North News campaign

Supercoach player Adrian of Honeybeowas sits at 20,071 points and is ranked 300th nationally, 603 points behind the Supercoach leader Ryder2Gray from Queensland.

The fastest-rising local team this week was bottoms up which scored 2371 and jumped 14,906 spots nationally and is now ranked 82,753rd.

There are 460 AFL SuperCoach teams in the City North News's competition.

A total of 273 SuperCoach points separate first position and tenth position.

The median score for all teams nationally is 15,907.
