Moonlight Cinema is moving from New Farm Park.

Grab your picnic basket: Brisbane’s getting a new outdoor cinema at a popular innercity spot.

Moonlight Cinema, which was formerly at New Farm Park, will now be nestled among the lush gardens of Roma Street Parkland, in the city, screening from November 29 to March 31.

Tickets go on sale on Thursday for the season of new releases and crowd favourites, including Aquaman, Bohemian Rhapsody, Storm Boy and even perennial Christmas must-see Love Actually.

AND A GREATEST SHOWMAN SING ALONG SESSION. OUTDOORS. UNDER THE STARS.

A spokesman said Moonlight Cinema moved from New Farm Park because of “the new venue’s proximity to the city and public transport”.

“The new site is larger and also the tiered landscape is perfect for our bean beds and also gives a better view of the movie screen for people,” he said.

The site is pet friendly.

Patrons are allowed to bring their own food (but no BYO alcohol), and the site is pet friendly for pooches on leads. There’s even “Gold Grass” premium tickets: “With reserved bean beds in a premium viewing location and wait service, you won’t even have to get up from your bean bed.”
