A CYCLIST was transported to hospital with a serious head injury after falling off a bicycle on a Brisbane North bikeway this morning.
A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said the incident, which occurred on the Boondall Wetlands bikeway at Nudgee Beach, was reported just before 10am.
The cyclist was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a serious condition with a head injury.
A critical care paramedic was on board for transport.
