Chermside motorcycle crash leaves rider in serious condition
A motorbike rider has been taken to hospital in a serious condition after a crash with a vehicle on a street near one of Brisbane’s major shopping centres in the city’s north.

A motorbike rider has been taken to hospital in a serious condition after a crash with a vehicle on a street near one of Brisbane’s major shopping centres in the city’s north.
Several paramedic crews, including advances and critical care units, were called to the scene of the crash at the corner of Hall and Thomas St at Chermside at 3.14pm.
A patient, believed to be the motorbike rider, was treated at the scene after suffering a significant leg injury before being taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a serious condition.
Queensland Police crews also attended the scene and are currently at the roundabout at the top of Hall St directing traffic, where delays are reportedly expected.
The age and gender of the patient is unknown at this point.
Thomas and Hall Street is nearby to Westfield Chermside shopping centre.
