Telstra will build two new mobile phone base stations north west of Brisbane with funding under round four of the Federal Government’s Mobile Black Spot Program.

They will be located at Cedar Creek, near Samford, and at Mt Glorious and both will offer 3G and 4G services.

But Telstra would not say when they would be built.

Telstra will contribute $23.3 million of the $55.6 million co-investment required for the 131 new sites around the country in round four.

The Queensland, South Australian, Victorian and Western Australian state governments will contribute a combined $14.3 million and the Commonwealth $18 million.
