Lake Eden Tattoo voted North Lakes and Pine Rivers Best Tattoo Parlour 2021

A tattoo parlour which boasts more than 30,000 likes on Facebook has been voted North Lakes and Pine Rivers best for 2021.

Eight tattoo artists from a shop in North Lakes, which boasts more than 30,000 followers on social media, have been crowned the region’s best tattoo parlour for 2021.

The North Lakes Times and Pine Rivers Press put a call out to find the area’s best tattoo shop and were inundated with nominations.

While 18 artists were listed as finalists, there could only be one winner.

Lake Eden Tattoo Gallery received more than 40 per cent of the final vote.

The parlour on Endeavour Boulevard opened in 2016, and has become well known in North Lakes area for offering high-quality unique tattoo designs and styles.

Studio owner Jack Peacock has been inking up clients for the past decade.

“I’ve always grown up doing some form of artwork and it was just something that I wanted to do as a career,” he said.

“You get to deal with all walks of life.

“You get some pretty wild requests, that’s for sure.”

Mr Peacock said he loved that the tattoo industry did not discriminate.

“You’re always meeting different characters,” he said.

“I specialise in traditional Maori tattooing, but every artist here has a style of work that they like to do.

“So we just work out what the client wants and who’s best suited for the job.”

The humble artist says he believes the secret to success is due to just being down to earth.

“We just treat people like people and every job is an individual job and an individual experience,” he said.

“I think it's the experience and the quality of work that they’re going to get.
