Access to the property would be via Lakefield Dr and the adjacent North Lakes Central complex, while plans for Lot 72 SP 236546 showed a total of 67 parking spaces, with 53 designated for patients.

The centre would also be controlled by a boom gate to manage parking at what is already a busy locale.

And the inclusion of a pharmacy would mean four such facilities within about 200m of one another, with three Chemist Warehouses operating nearby.

Cornerstone Health said North Lakes was specifically targeted for its growth potential.

“We invest in Australian communities by providing healthcare service where and when it’s needed most; with a focus on growth areas with high demand,” Cornerstone Health CEO Henry Bateman said.

“As one of the fastest growing areas of Queensland, North Lakes fits this profile perfectly.”
