Business owners make drastic changes to keep their doors open
Brendale’s Brand Hero this week came to the rescue handing out free corflutes to small businesses staring off a coronavirus precipice.
Brand Hero Director Jonathan Edwards said stressed business owners were in tears when they collected the signs.
“We like to give back where we can,” he said.
“We deal a lot with small businesses so it is close to our hearts when customers are in pain.
“We are in the same boat in a lot of ways but we like to lift our customers higher in good times and in bad.
“During this crisis there is a lot of confusion out there; businesses need to get people in the door and hopefully keep them afloat.”
The generous act comes on the back of near disaster for Brand Hero which last year suffered a major fire at its Brendale premises.
Mr Edwards said the experience, though traumatising, rejuvenated the company and proved Brand Hero could not only function under duress but improve from it.
The company director said remaining positive was key.
“We have had a wonderful, positive response at this time when there is so much negativity,” Mr Edwards said.

“It has been nice even just for ourselves in the office on a personal level.
“And we have been trying to be positive in our social media; this too will go away.”
