Get ready for the ultimate family fun afternoon in the park with a stellar line-up of entertainment, a smorgasbord of food trucks, free rides plus a spectacular fireworks finale.

Park Vibes is back at Pine Rivers Park on March 7, celebrating food, music and fun from 3-8pm.

Moreton Bay Region Industry & Tourism (MBRIT) chairman Shane Newcombe says every member of the family will enjoy an afternoon at Park Vibes.

“The program this year will bring locals and residents from across the Moreton Bay Region together to enjoy a free afternoon of quality entertainment,” Mr Newcombe says.

“Beginning at 3pm, the kids will go crazy for a whole afternoon of free rides in the kids zone.

“The Strathpine Centre main stage will host a variety of fantastic artists before the headline band PocketLove take over and get the crowd up and dancing before the fireworks finale.”

PocketLove is a rowdy, funky eight-piece ensemble, offering a mix of bombastic rhythms, searing guitars, angelic horns and anthem lyrics.

Acting mayor Mike Charlton says Park Vibes grows year-on-year and 2020 will offer the best event yet.

“With free rides and free entertainment, this is a truly family-friendly event,” Cr Charlton says.

Festival goers won’t be starved for choice when it comes to dinner either, with international cuisine available across three flavour food zones; Tastes of Asia, Flavours of Europe and United Plates of America.

For the ultimate Saturday Sesh, step into the licensed pop-up bar to enjoy a locally-brewed craft beer or wine from local brewers Thirsty Chiefs and Ocean View Estates.
