Two toddlers and two adults hit by vehicle at Redcliffe Paceway
A toddler is in a critical condition, one other toddler and two adults are stable after being hit by the boom of a pace car at a racetrack north of Brisbane last night.

The young girl injured in a freak accident at a racetrack north of Brisbane is still in a critical condition.
Queensland Ambulance were called to Redcliffe Paceway, north of Brisbane, just after 7pm on Sunday night.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesman said four people, a young boy, young girl and two adults were hit by the boom of a pace car, which malfunctioned, during a trotting race.
Workplace Health and Safety Queensland and Queensland Police are investigating the incident.
Racing Queensland Chief Executive Officer Brendan Parnell said there was little more information the organisation could add.
“Our utmost concern is for the impacted family,” Mr Parnell said.
“It is imperative that we provide our support to the family, as well as the Redcliffe Harness Racing Club, the QRIC stewards and the other spectators in attendance who have been impacted by this incident.
“As such, Racing Queensland will avail a 24/7 counselling service for those impacted which we will communicate to the harness racing industry.”
Racing Queensland said Wednesday’s scheduled meeting at Redcliffe Paceway would be abandoned.

The spokesman said both children were taken to Queensland Children’s Hospital.
He said one was in a critical condition, the other sustained minor injuries.
A Queensland Children’s Hospital spokeswoman said the girl was still in a critical condition and the young boy was stable.
She said she could not comment on the nature of the injuries.
A man in his 40s was transported to Royal Brisbane Hospital with head injuries and a women in her 40s was taken to the children’s hospital with minor injuries.
The spokesman could not comment on the patients’ conditions this morning.
Redcliffe Harness Racing Club said in a Facebook post: “Our thoughts and love with those injured in the mobile incident (no names deliberately). Thanks to everyone who helped so quickly.”
