A trawler has become beached near the tiny community of Bulwer on Moreton Island this morning.
It is not known how the incident happened but conditions were reasonably rough and the tide was low.
Brisbane Water Police and Queensland Police have been contacted for comment.
Coast Guard were not on scene, as of 10.40am.
