The new ‘Gateway to Caboolture’ is taking shape - fast

Transformation of the iconic Rudd’s Corner, dubbed the Gateway to Caboolture, is almost finished.

The development at the roundabout of Lower King St and Mewett St, which was approved in August 2018, is due for completion at the end of March.

It includes three retail shopfronts and a service station.

The Beachmere Bakery, which is currently at the Central Lakes Shopping Village has been announced as the third tenant to join Starbucks and a 7-Eleven service station to move in when construction is finished.

Agent Grant Simpson, the ­Commercial Guys sales and leasing director, said they were still looking to fill the final tenancy which has an alfresco area.

“It’s progressing really well and we’ve had strong interest in the property,” he said.

“Anyone coming in and out of Caboolture will see this tenancy.

“It has a beautiful outdoor alfresco area and big retail business.”

The development has two access points and includes 39 parking spaces.

It was affectionately known as Rudd’s Corner because of its affiliation with business Rudd’s Radiator Service for roughly 50 years.

The site’s overall size is 4463sq m.
