Target stores at Morayfield and Bribie Island to stay as others are closed or become Kmarts
The future of the Target stores at Morayfield and Bribie Island has been revealed as owner Wesfarmers closes and rebrands dozens of the retail outlets across the country.

The Target stores in the Caboolture district will remain untouched despite a massive restructure of the business around Australia.
Late last week the retailer’s owner Wesfarmers announced 10-25 large format Target stores would close and 10-40 would be converted to Kmart.
About 30 stores in Queensland will be affected.

But the target at Morayfield Shopping Centre and Bribie Island Shopping Centre stores are not among those slated for closure or conversion.
The only store in the greater Brisbane area where there will be changes will be Kippa-Ring, which will be shut early next year.
The Beerwah store will become a Kmart in early-mid 2021.
The remainder of affected stores are in regional and rural areas.
