A 24-year-old Scarborough man, who found himself in the watch house three times at the weekend has been denied bail.
The court heard Connor Pierce Hennedy Harris was first arrested in relation to an alleged unlawful use of a motor vehicle charge on Saturday.
He was released from the watch house on bail.
Just a few hours later Harris was arrested again after allegedly stealing food items from a service station at Deception Bay.
An hour after committing the theft Police Prosecutor Sergeant David Pollock alleged Harris then sprayed the entire side of the service shop with a fire extinguisher before cycling away.
Harris was arrested and found to be in possession of 0.4 grams of ice.
The defendant was once again let out of the watch house on bail.
In the early hours of Sunday morning Harris then stole more food from a service station and assaulted a staff member.
He was once again arrested – only this time police did not grant him bail.
All up Harris was charged with seven offences: unlawful use of a motor vehicle, possession of a dangerous drug, interfering with a fire extinguisher, two counts of stealing, public nuisance and common assault.

The court duty lawyer Dean Mayr told Magistrate Bucknall Harris, a father, was out on a “bender” at the weekend after breaking up with his partner.
“This weekend’s escapades came about because he broke up with his partner and gone on a bit of a bender and committed a number of offences during that time,” Mr Mayr said.
Mr Mayr said Harris planned to plead guilty to all offences except the unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
Harris claimed he had permission from the owner to use the car.
Police tendered Harris’ Victorian criminal history, which was 15 pages long, and a one page Queensland history.
Magistrate Bucknall noted the last entry on Harris’ Victorian history was similar to common assault matter before the court on Monday.
Sgt Pollock said Harris’ alleged behaviour over a short period of time and his lengthy history made him an unacceptable risk for bail.
Magistrate Bucknall said on top of the most recent matters Harris had other matters in Brisbane Magistrates Court next month, including the assault of a police officer, stealing and possession of a knife.
“He is racking up a fair old list,” Magistrate Bucknall said.
“You have committed a number of offences you were given bail on two occasions, you didn’t take that opportunity and the third time you weren’t so lucky.
“You have an appalling history for someone who is 24 years of age.”
Magistrate Bucknall denied the bail application and remanded Harris in custody until his next court date on August 13.
