Police detain Bracken Ridge driver after car slams through fence

A Bracken Ridge family is repairing its driveway after a car rammed through their front fence overnight, with the driver charged with mid-range drink driving.

A Bracken Ridge family is cleaning up and repairing their driveway this morning after a car rammed through their front fence overnight.

Residents of a house in Cosette St, Bracken Ridge were shocked to find a two-door Honda Integra rammed into their driveway just after 6pm.

A Bracken Ridge man was charged with mid-range drink driving after allegedly ploughing a car into a suburban fence overnight.

Police were called to the scene and detained the man who was taken back to a police station at Sandgate where he was held for questioning before being charged with driving a motor vehicle over the middle alcohol level of more than 0.125.
