New online vegan food delivery business catering to North Brisbane, Moreton Bay and Sunshine Coast

A Queensland couple have started an online vegan food delivery business.

Caboolture couple Jedh and Danielle Howell have launched House Vegan, an online business which delivers vegan food.

A Queensland couple have started an online vegan food delivery business and say there is real demand.

Danielle and Jedh Howell, from Caboolture, launched House Vegan on June 13, which sells a range of animal-free products from vegan cheese to pies.

Mrs Howell said the couple went vegan 12 months ago for “health reasons” but found it hard to find vegan products at supermarkets.

“We started the store ­because we are passionate about living a vegan lifestyle,” she said.

“Our aim is to make it easy for people to find all their vegan, vegetarian and dairy free food in one place and to avoid disappointment of finding it sold out at the mainstream supermarkets.

“It’s also good for people who have egg or dairy allergies, they can still get tasty food.’’

Mrs Howell said the vegan diet was gaining popularity in the Moreton Bay region.

“We did three deliveries to Wamuran the other day, we’ve delivered to Caboolture, Burpengary, Narangba, down to north Brisbane and up towards the Sunshine Coast,” she said.
