A mother of six was caught in a McDonald’s showdown when she rammed a car parked across the drive-through, a court has heard.

Kallangur mum Kelly Lee Kemp, 28, was parked in a waiting bay at the drive through of McDonald’s Caboolture when a fight escalated.

Caboolture Magistrates Court heard another woman allegedly approached the car Kemp was sitting in, triggering an argument.

However it soon escalated to a fight, with the pair allegedly hitting and punching each other.

Kemp’s partner, who was also in the car, broke the pair up however the court heard the other woman allegedly drove her car across the drive-through, stopping Kemp from driving away.

“Move or I’ll ram you,” Kemp told the woman.

“The court heard Kemp then ploughed her car into the other car, in a shocking display in the presence of an array of other patrons.

“It’s just a disgrace,” said police prosecutor Sergeant Peter Mitchelson.

The court heard Kemp was “very remorseful” about the melee, which was “out of character”.

She pleaded guilty to affray and driving without due care and attention and was fined $1000.
