A man has died after a horrific two-vehicle crash north of Brisbane, in the second tragic motorbike crash in southeast Queensland on Thursday.

A man has died after a horrific two-vehicle crash north of Brisbane, in the second tragic motorbike crash in southeast Queensland on Thursday.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene at Brays Road and Tesch Road at Griffin in Moreton Bay at 5.15pm.
It is believed to have been a collision between a red utility vehicle and the motorbike at an intersection in front of the 7/11 service station.
The motorcycle rider, 51, of Griffin, suffered life-threatening injuries which proved fatal.
The driver of the ute, a 45-year-old Griffin man, and his teenage passenger did not receive any significant injuries.
Local residents who saw the crash and the aftermath have flooded social media with comments about the serious nature of the crash.
Brays Road was closed for almost three hours before emergency services were able to clear the scene.
Local residents who saw the crash said they were shocked by the force of the collision.
They also said the hoped it was no one they knew from the local area as it was a tight-knit community.
Police’s forensic crash unit is investigating.
