Huge traffic delays are building on the Bruce Hwy north of Morayfield after a serious motorcycle crash on Tuesday afternoon, June 4.

Emergency services are at the scene of a crash and treating a young motorcyclist.

A Queensland Police spokesman said the incident involved a single motorcyclist in his 20s who crashed at 2.25pm.

“The crash occurred northbound on the highway at exit 52,’’ he said.

An Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the man was in a stable condition and was being taken to the Royal Brisbane Women’s Hospital.

“He suffered leg injuries and crews acted quickly to avoid (worse) blockages of traffic,” a spokesman said.
