Deception Bay police charge 15 people with drug offences in one week

A 26-year-old woman has been charged after police uncovered almost 100 cannabis plants growing at her Deception Bay home - she was one of 15 people charged with drug offences by Deception Bay Police this week.

Deception Bay Police charged 15 people with drug offences this past week including a 26-year-old woman who was allegedly found growing 86 cannabis plants.

Here is the full list of charges:

Police allegedly uncovered 89 cannabis plants, methylamphetamine, cannabis leaf and drug utensils while conducting a raid at a Deception Bay home on July 13. A 26-year-old woman was charged in relation to the matters.

Two women, aged 34 and 37, have been charged after police allegedly found 17 grams of methylamphetamine, drug utensils, cannabis, XANAX tablets and substantial amount of money during a search of a car at Burpengary East on July 10.

Police conducted a search of a man at Deception Bay on July 11 and allegedly found cannabis and drug utensils. A 38-year-old man was charged in relation to the alleged offences.

On July 12 police spotted a suspect car at Deception Bay. Police intercepted the car and detained the occupants while they searched the car. Police allegedly found a quantity of methylamphetamine, cannabis, drug utensils and Suboxene strips. Two men, aged 21 and 23, and a 28-year-old woman were charged in relation to the matter.

A Deception Bay juvenile has been issued with a caution after police allegedly found him in possession of cannabis and drug utensils on July 13.

Two men, aged 21 and 29, have been charged after police executed a crime scene warrant on a car at Burpengary East. Police allegedly found large amounts of cash, methylamphetamine, utensils, iPhones and false number plates.

Police executed a search warrant at a Deception Bay home on July 16 and allegedly found 20 grams of methylamphetamine, a small amount of cannabis, MDMA tablets and drug utensils. Police have a suspect but charges are yet to be filed.

A 30-year-old woman has been charged with possessing utensils used for smoking a dangerous drug – she was allegedly found in possession of the utensils on July 11 at a Deception Bay home. Police were at the address for an unrelated matter.

While police were at a Deception Bay address on July 11 for an unrelated matter they allegedly spotted drug utensils. A 15-year-old girl was charged in relation to the alleged offence.

A 45-year-old woman has been charged with possessing a drug utensils. Police allegedly found the pipe while searching a car at Deception Bay on July 11.

Police intercepted a car on July 12 at Burpengary East in relation to another matter. Police conducted a search and allegedly found drug utensils and needles under the driver’s seat. A 32-year-old woman was charged in relation to the alleged offences.
